A bit about me.

My approach to design

For the last 11+ years I've been embedded in corporate, government, and venture environments, working end-to-end across strategy, research and design lifecycles.

I’m often shipping between design leadership and leading the work, where I’ll shape product and design direction while staying immersed in the problem space and seeing initiatives through to impact.

More recently, this has included leading research and design for a federal digital health tool (Healthdirect), creating the design foundation for a retail media SaaS platform handling $500m+ of annual ad spend (Cartology), and helping medium-sized businesses explore and validate new value propositions (Design Intoto, PaidRight).

I’m drawn to design because of the universality of its application. Different sectors, different challenges, same potential; how do we connect pixels (craft) with people (strategy) with profits (outcomes).

How I’m using AI

It’s an interesting time in this space and I’ve maintained cautious optimism. There’s a lot of premature hype, but still a lot of potential value.

I've been experimenting with integrating different tools at different stages of my workflow. (Perplexity) for deep research. (Claude Code) for building. Exploring how tools like (Stitch) and (Magic Patterns) can accelerate consistent design outputs at scale.

Achieving velocity has been the more accessible value add. Preserving intention and sharpness is proving the harder problem. Lately my most valued use-cases have been pressure testing existing product and design direction and surfacing blind spots through feedback loops.
